Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MONROE ~~ Domestic Shorthair, Black, Microchipped and Neutered, 11 pounds, DOB: 5/01/2015
Hi, I'm Monroe and am a big boy with the most amazing bright yellow-green eyes and a super shiny and soft sable coat. I am looking for a nice home, some comfy beds and a cat tree (or two) and some high perches to climb. I love being up high and looking down to watch the action!
Monroe should be ok with dogs, as long as they are friendly and don't chase him. He does not like male cats at all, and might do best in a home without any other cats. However, Monroe might be ok with a calm, gentle female cat who is not confrontational or aggressive. He is a very sweet, laid back and lovable guy and really enjoys being scratched. He is up to date on all vaccines and vet services and has a negative combo test and fecal.
Monroe is on a special diet (Royal Canin Urinary S/O) because he has a prior history of a urinary blockage. He likes this food and should remain on it for life to keep urinary issues from resurfacing.
Summertime Adoption Special ~~ Monroe's adoption fee is just $65 through Labor Day and includes one month of Feline Revolution Plus (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and earmites).
Monroe is a Senior kitty who is also eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Program. If a Senior Citizen adopts Monroe, we will waive the adoption fee and give the new owner 15% off all future vet services for the remainder of his life.
To meet Monroe, visit Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays.
