My name is Sugar!

Sugar is a 2-month-old, terrier mix puppy. She is almost 5 pounds now and
will most likely not get bigger than 15 pounds. She is a sweet and
adventurous girl! She is the leader of her litter and enjoys a good game of
CHASE. Can she chase you? She is currently being fostered with her two
siblings Scout and Sonny. Their adorable mother Nera is available for
adoption too! Sugar gets along well with other dogs and will need a dog to
play with. She will be a joy to watch blossom into the happy dog that she is
destined to be. PLEASE have lots of chew toys for this baby! She is in the
process of receiving her puppy shots so she will need to learn all about
walking on a leash when it is safe for her to walk in public. They are used
to being on potty pads when they are kenneled or crated but they haven't
gotten the hang of them yet. Their foster mom takes them out to the grass
to potty on a schedule and waits while thy do their business. They are
getting used to the routine and a good routine will promote successful potty
training. Being a puppy, she likes to be underfoot, so please only
surefooted adults and children for everyone's safety! Sugar will make a
great family pet! She is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her

What is included

In adoption fee for dogs

Spayed or neutered.



Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them)



Rabies vaccination (if old enough).



De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped.



A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor.



One week of dry dog or cat food.



One toy and one blanket.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.



2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
