My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Melody was brought in from an abandonment case with eight other cats that were crammed in carriers and wire crates for prolonged periods of time. The day that she came into the shelter, she was choking down her food to the point that she seemed to have been starving. We do not know how long they had been in the crates and carriers before we were notified about the abandonment. Despite being only three pounds of skin and bones, flea ridden, filthly, urine stained and urine scalded back legs, she is sweet and just wanted to be petted and loved. Since she came in two weeks ago, she has gained weight and started investigating and playing. She now has a kitty cold which we are treating and will be able to go to a furever home once she is better and spayed. Melody deserves a family who will never leave her behind and that will treat her like a princess. We estimate that she is 1-2 years old.

If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.

Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
