Meet Jimmy Poo! This sweet boy can be a little bit shy right off the bat, but within a couple moments, he'll start to warm up and want pets and love. Jimmy Poo is scared of children, and would do best in a home with no kids, or at least older, considerate kids, so that he feels safe and secure. Jimmy does great with most adults, and most other dogs, but he can be a bit of a pushover with bigger, more dominant dogs. If you are interested in a super sweet pup, and you are willing and able to take things slowly and show Jimmy Poo that you are trustworthy, please don't hesitate to apply to meet Jimmy Poo today, he'll be waiting!

All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.

If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment. 530-895-8888

Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
