My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Tina. She is 1yr 8 mos. She is mixed. We think German shepherd. She is pretty timid. Seems like everything is new to her. She is good with dogs. She has a little big of resource guarding. She never attacks just growls. Only to dogs not humans. This is something we believes will be remedied by stability & knowing she will be fed regularly. She is mostly submissive & occasionally dominate which is believed to be fear based. She has the personality & temperament to be molded into what an adopter would want.

Go meet their pets

As a foster based rescue we do not have a physical location Our boxers are placed in foster homes-this allows us to learn more about the boxer in a home setting, which in turn helps us match potential adopters with a boxer that fits within their family dynamics.

With an approved application, meet and greets may be arranged, however, we will not hold or transport a boxer for a meet/greet.

More about this rescue

Since 2014, Boxer Lovers Rescue has been changing the lives of boxers in need, one adoption at a time. With a network of volunteers across several states, we have helped hundreds of boxers each year.

Boxer Lovers works with many shelters, providing an out for boxers in their care and gives options to the owner no longer able to care for their boxer.

Based out of Kuna, Idaho, where we do operate a small indoor/outdoor kennel facility. The kennels are temperature controlled and provide temporary housing for the boxers as they are processed in.

Boxers are spay/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, dewormed, and microchipped. As well as having any other medical needs met prior to adoption.

As we continue to expand our reach and ability to help even more boxers yearly in areas where they once had no hope, your support is crucial. Boxer Lovers is a 501c3 all volunteer nonprofit and depends on the generosity of boxer lovers like yourself. Please help us by showing your support through donation or volunteering your time.
