My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a super adorable 2-month old Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix who currently weighs 11 pounds.  Pepper and his siblings will likely be medium to large when full grown.   It's important to research breeds and understand that he could be an active dog with herding instincts based on his breed combo, but right now he's a pretty laid back puppy.

Pepper is a sweet guy and more laid back than his brother, Pork Chop. We believe Pepper will do well in most environments.  He gets along well with the older kids in his foster home, and his foster mama doesn't have any concerns about kids.  In fact, his foster mamma thinks Pepper would love to have his very own kid(s) to play with because he loves his human foster sibling.

If you'd like to adopt Pepper, apply today! His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
