My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie's owner recently passed away. He had 2 dogs, no children and no
spouse. He did not make any arrangements for the dogs. There are no
family members able to take the dogs in and we have tried numerous
rescue organizations, facebook, friends and family. He is currently
living in the unoccupied house, with a doggie door so he has access
to the house and back yard. A neighbor feeds them daily. We must sell
the house ASAP and don't want to take them to the city shelter..


Dixie is a boxer/lab mix, or Boxador.  She is 6 yrs old and weighs
about 75 lbs.  She is house broken, crate trained, chipped, spayed, and
up to date on shots.  Dixie has vet records going back to when she was a
pup.  She loves to play and be petted and is gentle and obedient. Dixie
would love for her friend Gunny to come with her but doesn't mind being
by herself.
