My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy! Are you looking for a young sweet spunky red headed gal who “You’re gonna be always loved by me”?  Well, “Rumor has it” , that’s ME!!!

Hi I’m Reba and I am so looking forward to getting to know you, “What do you say”?

I can be a bit shy at first because “I’m a survivor”, I got tossed out of a car and “The heart won’t lie”, it scared me. I have been learning to trust again and only want to please you. I don’t want to have “The fear of being alone”, so looking for “Somebody” to “Forever love me”.

My foster mom says that I’m a really gentle sweet medium size 45 pound year and a half old girl that wouldn’t hurt a fly. I like to sing to you at dinner time if you’re taking too long to feed me and I’m good on a leash without pulling but need more training to learn to walk next to you.

Sometimes fast movements can startle me, so a house that is calm and with no little children might be best. When I get over excited, I sometimes get a bit jumpy and try to give you a hug. I’m working hard at learning that I shouldn’t do that, but please give me grace if I do.

I have seen a few cats, barked at them and chased them along the fence line. I’m not sure if I like them or not, but they look like a-lot of fun to chase. When it comes to meeting new people, I warm up faster to ladies than men, but once I get to know you, I will be your shadow and happy to just lay at your feet often. I would love to be an  “Angel in your arms” and have “Sweet dreams” while cuddling with you, “What do you say”? I promise if you’re “Talking in your sleep”, I won’t tell! I am ok with my crate and if afraid, I know it’s a safe space for me. I am house trained and would definitely love to have at least one doggie playmate to help me build my confidence up. I have 3 female BC foster sisters that I love to play with, snuggle with and goof around with, but when I’m not playing with them, I’m laying near my foster mom. I share toys well and “How was I to know” that treats are the way to my heart! One thing that I’m not fond of still is getting in and out of a car. Once you are in with me I’m ok. Cars just still scare me but with time I know I will let go of that fear.  “Is there life out there” where ”I can see forever in your eyes”? “Why haven’t I heard from you”? I’m waiting patiently in northwest Houston area to meeting my new family.
