My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Contact us at yourfriendlypaws@yahoo.com **Oliver is a beautiful maine coon mix kitty about 2 years old. He is a friendly boy who loves attention. He plays with his toys and enjoys sitting on the cat tree to watch the birds. He was rescued as a stray that came to a lady’s property. No one claimed him after a month of being posted so the lady that had him could no longer care for him. He was not claimed after a month. Now, that he has been neutered, is combo tested and FIV positive, has his rabies and distemper shot, dewormed, flea medication and microchip. Would the FIV status deter adopters from giving Oliver a second chance to find a new family that would cherish him?

Also, Being FIV-positive means that the cat has antibodies that have been exposed to the virus, although it can take years, if ever, before the cat develops any FIV infection and clinical signs referred to as Feline AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome of Cats). If a cat has FIV, it does not necessarily have Feline AIDS.

FIV is only contagious among cats and difficult to transmit. It is also slow-acting, so cats generally do not show any symptoms until years after being infected. They can live a normal long life and another non FIV kitties if the cat is not aggressive.

Please e-mail Yourfriendlypaws@gmail.com to inquire and/or receive an adoption application for the cat that you are interested in adopting to start the process then once is completed we can arrange for you to meet him

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FELV/FIV test, vaccinations, deworming, rabies, (age permitting). All cats/dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated and microchip
