Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Pongo from Furever Dog rescue in Ft. Lupton, CO in December of 2020. He was just a puppy and was raised in our household with a senior dog, a 6 month old baby, and a 5 year old. We took him to a local dog trainer, Mountain State K9 Academy when he was about 1.5 years old. He is very trainable and learns quick. Our entire family loves Pongo dearly, but unfortunately as he’s matured he and our other dog are not getting along. We take him regularly to doggy day care, Dogtopia, and he has never had any issues with any of the other dogs or trainers there.
Pongo is very active and loves to play fetch, frisbee, and tug of war. He is a great running and hiking partner, and loves his daily walks. He also enjoys romping in the river. We would prefer to find him a home where there are no other pets or children, although he has never once made us feel nervous around our own children. He is such a wonderful dog, and we are absolutely heart broken that we need to find him a new home.
