My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Faith has been through quite a lot of change in her young life! She craves stability and love, and she truly deserves that and more. Will you please share her story and help us to help her?

Faith was found by another rescue group several years ago struggling to survive outdoors with two tiny kittens. They were brought into foster care, and her kittens were adopted, leaving her all alone. She was then sadly bounced around to several different foster homes for a variety of reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with her. As if that wasn't tragic enough, her last stop was with a person who abused and neglected her, including locking her in a crawl space with no food, water, or litter box. When the other rescue group was made aware of her plight they had no open space in their foster system but were desperate to get her to safety, and that is how she made her way to Cat Crew.

Faith has been with us for two years now, and, though she is safe and cared for, she has made it clear that she would prefer not to share her space with other cats, and she would love a quiet, low-key family. With all of the change and stress that she has been through, she is nervous about trusting new humans, but she is incredibly brave and resilient and is doing her best! She currently does not like to be petted but does love treats and loves to play, and she will engage with her foster mom through both of those activities. We are absolutely certain that in the right home, one with calm and patient owners, she will blossom into the wonderful girl that she is meant to be. You can see in her eyes that this is all she wants, and we are desperately hoping that there is a wonderful family who is willing to give her that chance!

Bonding with a shy cat is like NOTHING else in the world. Faith's adoption fee is waived, and we will be here 24/7 to support whoever opens their hearts to give her a safe space. We would also be thrilled to find her a new foster home, if you are not sure if you want to adopt--we will pay all ongoing vet costs and give you all of the supplies that you need! We just desperately want to get her into a home where she can finally be herself again.

Faith is about five years old and is healthy and fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. She has her whole life ahead of her...please help her to find her happiness again!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to help control the homeless cat population in and around the borough of Norristown by Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) and foster/adoption with the ultimate goal of keeping their numbers, and subsequently, their suffering, to a minimum. We use local low cost spay and neuter clinics and work with other rescue groups to place as many friendly cats as possible into forever homes. We bring sick and injured cats in off the street for medical care and recovery. We know we can make a difference, one cat at a time.
