Hi everyone! My name is Bernie. I am a year old and weigh 51 pounds. I`ve been described as happy and wiggly! I also love treats and will do my absolute best to take them nicely from you. I hope my forever person is just around the corner, because I`d love to have a home of my very own. It is unknown how I behave around other dogs, cats or kids so a slow and proper introduction is the best way to set everyone up for success.
All adoptions come with 30-days of support from our staff to help make sure the transition from the shelter to your home goes as smoothly as possible.
All of our available animals and the adoption application can be found here: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Once you have submitted your application, an adoption counselor will forward your information to the foster parent who will reach out to you for an appointment.
