My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Gracie! I am 1 year 7 ½ months. I am a Scorpio, and my birthstones are Opal and Tourmaline. Although, I am not a girl who wants to go shopping for all those things you wear like clothes, collars, and leashes. I used to like to like going shoe shopping but now I would rather go shopping for chews, like antlers. What is your favorite restaurant? Mine is any all you can eat buffet as I have one healthy appetite. Amateur night at a comedy club is my idea of a night out. I am quite funny! I am a quick judge of people. Most of the time I am good but there are those people, just one or two that I yell at out of nowhere when home or out and about.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I am an avid runner and enjoy going to dog parks to see my fur friends. I am not really a fan of being on a leash but I get over it quickly. I placed 1st in peeing but last when it comes to pooping outside. My nickname is Wiggle Waggles because I am wiggly and squiggly. I love my dragon and love playing catch, but I am not into fetch. Sam is my roommate. He is 6 years old and blind. I believe I am too active for him and need a younger roommate or live alone. And at bedtime I enjoy my snuggling and am quite lovey.
A few odds and ends about me. I weigh about 25lbs and is as healthy as Mr. Ed. I cannot have any Mini Me’s and I am up to date on all my vaccines.

Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks.

Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery.

We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.

Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application. Applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will receive that dog.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE HAVE NO BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION-- WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE, ALL DOGS ARE IN PRIVATE FOSTER HOMES.
If we if we think your home might be a good fit, we will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application. We do check references, use social media, been verified, do phone interview/emails, and home check will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.
