My name is Ryleigh (AL)!

Ryleigh (AL) is a female possibly Hound mix who was estimated by our southern veterinary partner to be 8 weeks old at the time of intake in June 2023. Ryleigh is good with people of all ages and other dogs, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate).  We can't imagine the horrors Ryleigh has experienced in her very short life thus far as she was picked up as a stray at just 8 weeks old along with her siblings, while suffering from a skin infection, dehydration and anemia likely caused by an infestation of every type of parasite you can imagine. This poor baby had bugs hovering over her as we carried her.  But they're all gone now and Ryleigh is all cleaned up. She is healthy but may still be growing her fur completely in at time of adoption. She is ready to leave her past life behind. Ryleigh is a playful, loving, funny, typical puppy. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
