Salem is an affectionate, playful, goofy, and beautiful black and silver cat. He is a Maine Coon mix who is about 3 years old. He is so loving and is so comforting to hold - what a smoosh! Despite having been abandoned by his owner and thrown outside, he loves people! He will do best in a home with another friendly cat, although he does need time to adjust to a companion.

We bring cats and kittens to adoption events at Pet Food Express at 320 S. Lake St., Pasadena CA 91101 every Saturday from 12:30 to 4:30pm.

I have been involved in cat rescue since 2012. I have rescued cats from various Southern California shelters and from the street (through TNR, finding abandoned pets, etc.) I love cats and want to help them to have better lives by finding loving and safe forever homes for them.
