LULU'S SAYS MEET CALEB, our 4-month-old Australian Shepherd mix. CalebâÂÂs foster mom tells us that heâÂÂs a superstar pup in training. He knows âÂÂsitâ and âÂÂfetchâ and is very responsive to treats, so he loves to learn. Caleb has a vision disability, but this certainly isn't holding him back from training. If you are willing to help him, he is more than willing to learn. He's very smart and we don't feel his slight disability will keep him from growing up into a wonderful companion dog! His foster mom also says he has the perfect combination of go-go energy with a cuddle-time off-switch. Caleb isnâÂÂt mouthy so heâÂÂd be fine with kids. He loves other dogs and is also good with the kitties. In the first night at his foster home, he gave a sniff and kiss to a few inquisitive cats. In general he ignores them completely. Caleb crates very quietly and is great in the car. HeâÂÂs working on his house training. Typical with his Aussie breeding, heâÂÂs a little reserved when he first meets you but after a minute, POOF! HeâÂÂs in your lap. Caleb is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heart worm negative; his adoption fee is $325.
