My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elle is a 3 month old Pit Bull Terrier mix that is estimated to be between 40-45 lbs once she is full grown. She is energetic, silly, sweet, and affectionate. She loves nothing more than to play with her human and shower you with so many sweet puppy kisses. Her favorite activities include playing with her siblings and older resident dogs in her foster home, be around her humans, and play with a tennis ball. This little girl is smart and has already figured out the art of being fully potty trained and kennel trained she will let you know when she needs out to go potty.

Elle is to medium to high energy. She is a pretty active short bursts of puppy energy that can easily be burned with some play time in the backyard. Once she gets older, she will require exercise such as walks in the neighborhood, short hikes on nature trails or a game of fetch with a tennis ball in the backyard.

Elle is good with kids and dogs. She is a social butterfly that loves everyone she meets. She is great around other dogs and goes into a submissive stance by rolling on her back and showing her belly. She currently has other dogs in her foster home. She would be a great pup for older children or teens and would love to have kids in the home who want to play with her and give her lots of belly rubs.

Elle is kennel trained and potty trained and working on leash training. Her ideal home environment would be a house with a fenced in backyard.

Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks.

Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery.

We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable.

Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application found at https://www.rangersreach.org/ We are 100% volunteer ran we try as hard as we can to get through applications as fast as possible. If we spend all our time answering inquires and emails, we have no time to look over applications. Please do not apply until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. We do not hold dogs for any reason. We do try to be fair and go in the order applications are received. If no response, decision or adoption is made we must move on to the next application.
