My story

This is Charlie. I adopted him from the shelter 6 years ago. He’s about 7 years old now. Charlie is the sweetest dog ever. He LOVES every person he meets and all he wants to do is snuggle up and be loved on. He’s very low maintenance and is happiest on a walk, being outside, or sleeping next to you. He does still need some training, he’s reactive with most other dogs. He also has some impulse control issues when he gets excited- he’ll jump on people or pull on his leash. He’s completely house trained, takes treats nice, and doesn’t resource guard with people unless you give him a bone. But with food or toys, zero issues. I adore him. The only reason I’m rehoming him is because I recently had a baby and he’s too high energy and impulsive with him. He wants to jump in his crib or lay on top of my baby to cuddle and I don’t have the time or money to continue training him to be safe around my son. He would do best in a home as an only pet and with kids he can’t knock over.
