My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoenix is a roughly 2 year old Pitt/Lab mix. He came to us as, you guessed it, a stray. Thankfully, due to the wonderful use of social media, we were able to gather some information about him.

Phoenix wants to be your one and only, so no other animals or small children for this boy. Phoenix has had at least 3 homes in his 2 years of life, so he really needs stability and routine. He is a little nervous at the shelter and lacks confidence. He looks to people for reassurance when hes uncomfortable. He needs someone to show him that life isn't scary. He needs someone who can provide him with the structure that dogs crave and thrive on. Phoenix has been making great progress with our staff. He needs a home where he can continue to build his self esteem.

Phoenix loves affection. When you squat down to pet him, he comes right over and leans into you. Phoenix does not jump up on people, instead he just sits in front of you with his front paws up in the air patiently waiting for attention.
