Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET PO
Po is a cute senior, estimated to be about 10 years old. He’s a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, about 29 lbs. He joined us from an overcrowded understaffed shelter in Oklahoma where he had been found as a stray. At such places, seniors are the first to be euthanized and we sure did not want to see that fate befall Po.
Although he’s a senior, Po has a playful, silly side. He enjoys the company of other dogs but can entertain himself as well. Po is an overall great boy….loving, goofy, but bold and confident…and sometimes stubborn. He’s a typical Corgi!
An ideal family for Po would have experience with the breed. A fenced yard would be great for Po to run and play when he chooses to do so. Because of his shorter legs, it would be most ideal if his new home was one level, with minimum stairs. A history of solid and consistent vet care for past/current dogs is also important.
Po is fully vetted, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention, has had comprehensive bloodwork (all good!) and is neutered and microchipped. He’s in overall very good health!
