My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny!

We would like to introduce you to Penny! She is beautiful, look at her! Unfortunately, she has been passed around, lost, and confused for most of her first year. Once we found out what she had been through we knew we had to help her!

Penny has spent the last couple of months at our foster home. We have seen her go from fearful to a much more confident dog. She still has a long way to go to become the dog we know she will be, but she is trying so hard!

Penny will need a home with another young confident dog that has a lot of energy for playtime! Penny loves a good game of chase, and we can’t keep her out of the dog pool! Penny loves all dogs and is AMAZING at accommodating them based on size.

Penny will need a family that is very patient and understands that she will need lots of love and guidance. Penny will need a family that will push her to do the things she is afraid to do. Once this girl gets her confidence you will have the most AMAZING hiking partner!

Based on some of the jumps, turns, and spins we have seen her do she would be number one in agility! We would also like Penny’s new family to come and visit her a few times before the adoption is final. This will help her with the transition from her amazing foster home to her forever.

Kids over twelve only. Cats are unknown

Approx. 2 years old and 50 pounds

Penny is ready for her forever home since she’s chipped, vaccinated, and spayed!

NOTE: Penny is NOT at our shelter. If you would like to meet her, please fill out the application so we can schedule an appointment. We will require a few visits before any adoption is final. This will make the transition from the foster house easier.
