Hi there! My name is Brownie. I'm approximately 1 year young and I was dropped off at the shelter on 4/29/2023. I've been here awhile, but I'm not sure why - I've been told I'm a staff favorite. I could be your favorite, too. Since you're here, I might as well tell you a bit about me so you can get to know me. I'm a healthy 56 lbs. with a medium build, sporting a shiny tan coat with highlights of white on my toes, chest, and face. My warm colors mirror my equally warm and loving personality.
I'm well known with staff for my fantastic leash-walking skills and my ability to peacefully co-exist with the cats in the yard. I never pull or tug on the leash, and I never try to chase the kitties. I met some doggy friends during a play group on 7/6/23. I was a little hesitant to warm up, but was respectful of the other dogs and I hope to join more play groups in the future.
One of the best things about me? I'm heartworm NEGATIVE and I'm ready to go and meet my forever family NOW! If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy, excitement, and endless affection, then look no further. I'm taking applications and would LOVE to meet you!
