My name is Lulu. I’m a Catahoula/lab mix, they say.
I am only a year old and was found roaming the streets…in this heat! They think I’ve already had a litter of puppies, but I don’t wanna talk about that. I’m friendly, so when I met a nice man on a walk, I figured I’d just follow him home. I love people and other dogs. My hobbies include asking for my head to be rubbed, chewing on bones, being cute, and CHASING CATS! I know that I am supposed to potty outside. I’ve only been in this nice cool house for 4 days and can already be left for hours without any accidents or getting into trouble. I don’t jump up on people much and will happily lay on the floor. I have a bed on the floor where I sleep all night long. A crate probably won’t bother me much, but I do like to be close to people. I’m loyal too, I won’t run away. I can jump fences, though, which is fun. I’ve done it a few times since I got here, but I never went far. Now I know I’m safe here and haven’t bothered leaving for a couple of days. And my eyes. Have you noticed how pretty my eyes are?
Her foster parents (unexpectedly they have to give her up on 7/17/23. Here is what they say about Lulu.
Lulu is a Catahoula/Labrador mix which can be a fantastic companion, combining the intelligence and working abilities of the Catahoula with the friendly and easy-going nature of the Labrador Retriever.
Lulu inherits the striking and captivating eyes of the Catahoula breed. Her unique eyes make her a standout beauty along with her gorgeous coat.
Lulu was found as a stray. She's only a year old and already had puppies😔. 57 pounds. NO CATS.
Here's all about her:
She has the prettiest coat and eyes and a beautiful personality to match. She is probably the calmest dog you will ever meet. Housebroken and knows basic commands.
Her favorite things to do are take naps and cuddle❤. She loves playing with all types of dogs, big or small. Great on a leash and enjoys walks through the park or downtown. Her foster parents take her out with them all the time, and she's always the star of the show.
Lulu is more than happy to let anyone she meets, show her some love. She also gets along with kids too! Loyal and would make a great addition to any family. She just wants to be loved!
