My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful mixed breed girl is Gamora and her recovery from a very rough beginning has been amazing. She went from being afraid of people to being the most loving and tender girl. She has a lot of energy, loves to explore, is very playful, and obedient. Gamora enjoys walks and napping in the shade. She loves playing with you and making new friends.

Gamora truly loves being pampered with hugs, kisses, or just being spoken to affectionately. She is discovering toys, learning to walk on a leash, and is being potty trained.

Gamora is fostered in Ajijic, Mexico, and is available for adoption locally, or in the United States and Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
