Meet Betty - a sweet girl that wants to be by her foster family at all times. Playful and cuddly, one-year old, she gets along well with other cats and kids in her foster home. All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine, microchip, and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. There is a screening process so merely wanting to adopt doesn't make someone eligible to adopt. Adoptions are approved at the discretion of the screeners. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a first come first serve basis. The present adoption fee is $125.00 (please note this amount may change without notification). Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat.

We take kitties to PetSmart on Saturdays from 10:30 to 3 for viewing. If you are considering adopting a kitty, please consider one of our kitties! Thank you!

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rehoming abandoned cats and kittens in Pinellas County, Florida.
Our mission is to rescue homeless cats without regard to the animal's health, age or overall physical condition. All cats/kittens are taken to the Vet for an exam and tested for feline leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All procedures are subject to the age and general health of the animal. We have any health problems attended to, and place them in a shelter home until we can find a loving, responsible, permanent home. There is no limit on the time in the shelter home. Our strong belief in rehabilitation means we want every animal to thrive and to be adopted into a loving home.
ALL donations are spent on vet care, food, medicine and housing. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!
