Here's what the humans have to say about me:
💜ADOPT BONNIE💜
This sweet girl is as loyal as they come! Her chocolate brown eyes glow with adoration for her people and she particularly loves a good ear rub. She has a short yet fluffy coat which is the prettiest copper color. DNA testing shows that she is a Catahoula/Shepherd mix. We think she is around 2 years old. She’s playful and fast and will need a home with a fenced yard. The Shepherd in her also means she’s a protector. As mentioned, she is extremely loyal which also means she’s concerned about people she doesn’t know coming into her yard. She needs a bit of time to warm up to new people, but her confidence is building nicely with help from an electronic collar and some professional training on how to be the best dog she can be. She is learning quickly and enjoys practicing her skills for treats!
Bonnie would do best as either an only dog or with a confident, laid-back companion dog. She gets along with the other 2 dogs in her foster home but mostly she’s a couch potato who enjoys a good nap. What she craves most is to be with her people. She loves a good walk and walks like a dream when on leash, ignoring all other dogs and just enjoying one-on-one time with her person.
Please consider giving this sweet girl a chance at a forever home! She will reciprocate with a thumping tail and adoring eyes for the rest of her days!
