My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snowball who is a 3 year old neutered American Eskimo. Snowball was adopted from a pet store as a puppy and has papers stating his lineage. He is an owner surrender due to family moving. He lived with a cat prior but the cat stayed upstairs by his own choice, away from Snowball. He loves to go for walks and is good on a leash. Living in a condo, he had limited interaction with other people except for when out for a walk. Enjoys being outside most of the day which is something he didn't have the opportunity to do at the condominium. Likes to play with his toys,(shreds anything that is stuffed), enjoys being brushed. Snowball also likes a little shredded cheese over his dry food and will sit on command. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night with no barking. He is an anxious dog does have a history of some guarding when taking something away from him that he shouldn't have and over food. This manifests as growling and nipping. From the foster: " It took him about a week to trust us. I am able to pet his head while he eats. He has not been given any table food at our house. I have been walking him about a total of 5 miles a day. For his anxiety, I have been giving him Thunder Wunder one tab a day with great effect. He is leery of strangers. I have not observed his behavior around other dogs. Snowball is smart and has adjusted to his new routine with us fairly quickly. He needs a forever home with someone with patience to allow him time to adjust and he will be forever loyal to you." He loves children age 8+ so they don't take food or toys away from him. If you think you can provide Snowball with a forever home, please apply at www.brasscityrescue.org
