My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jimmy is 8lbs, approximately 2 years old, healthy and is just a bundle of joyful energy. He loves to play and will play with everyone from the senior foster mates to the giant golden doodles who visit. His response to cats in unknown. Given his high energy and fondness for mouthing my hand, small children should be avoided. He is so affectionate and interactive, everyone who has met him here loves him. He’s house trained, crate trained, does not mark inside, is learning leash manners with a harness. I don’t know if he is dog door trained but he’s smart and would learn quickly especially because he loves being outdoors. He is very food motivated so is fed in his crate here to allow the other dogs to peacefully eat. He is young and still likes to chew things so is currently restricted to the balls, ropes and Kong toys. I give him the kong chew toy with a couple of treats hidden inside. He sleeps the night through and does not fuss to be released in the mornings. He is also crated without complaints if I need to leave the home for day to day errands. Sounds perfect doesn’t he??? Other than the need to keep him entertained with friends, balls, appropriate chew toys and his exuberant greeting of all other dogs he really is very nearly perfect.
