Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Sage. I was picked up from a shelter with my mom & two sisters a couple of years ago and we were very lucky to have been saved by a nice lady. Had she been a few hours later, we would not be here. My sisters and mom all went to their furever homes a long time ago. I don't understand why not me? I am a very gentle pup with a happy nature and just a big baby. My foster mom worked with me until I was able to get along with the kitties here & my other brothers & sisters (they used to scare me!) I am still a little shy around strangers (they scare me & I feel threatened), but once I get to know you, I am very affectionate & love belly rubs! I am super healthy and up to date on all shots. All I need now is a home of my own, one where I can continue to be loved as part of the family, Sadly, I don't remember anything of my life before the shelter, but I am happy and laid back. I don't remember ever having been around kids, but I think I would absolutely love them as long as they are gentle with me.
RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email:
