My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ryder is an energetic, loving, little 2-year-old who doesn’t let the cards he has been dealt make him frown. Ryder loves to play with people, his four foster fur siblings and of course his chew toys. He can easily play with his fur siblings outside, play fetch with his favorite ball outside or keep himself entertained inside with a chew toy. Ryder loves to take long walks on the trails and is enjoying hiking with his foster dad. Above all, Ryder loves to curl up with his people or siblings and chill out after a long day of exercise and giving love to everyone. He has been sleeping great at night in his crate, and for short periods while his foster parents are out grocery shopping all while not having any accidents in his crate. He is working on his anxiety around new dogs. His ntegration into his large foster family has gone well and with the time and training his foster parents are giving him, he will continue to improve. He does well in the car and enjoys outings where he can meet new friends, visit stores, especially Lowes and Tractor Supply. Ryder can’t wait to show that special person or family how much love and affection he has to give in his special forever home. Ryder is in great health, neutered, up to date on vaccines, will be microchipped, heartworm negative, and he has some basic training all ready.

If you would like to meet this amazing guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Ryder is being fostered in North Alabama with transport available. Friends of Rescue requires a (virtual) home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.
