My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email info@seniordoghaven.org. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/.
Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be about an hour of Wilmington, DE in order for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in person home visit.
Meet Neo!
Neo is an adorable 7 year old 30 lb. blind beagle with a wonderful personality. Once he warms up to you, he’ll make sure he’s close by and comes over for scratches and pets. He is unbelievably sweet but also a little shy and will need time to get comfortable when meeting new people so that he is not scared.
He was terrified when he first was rescued, but now that he’s getting braver and more comfortable his foster family is enjoying getting to see his more playful side.
Neo navigates the house well and can go up and down stairs. He loves running in the yard, and will need a fenced yard as leash walks are scary for him. He seems to want to play with the other dogs in his foster home, and loves chewing on hard things like bones, antlers, and cat food dishes ;)
