Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kimmie came to MAS from a frustrating hoarding situation when she was very pregnant. In addition to being infested with various parasites, Kimmie was very quiet, had progressive anemia, and had shifting leg stiffness. Sadly, she tested positive for Lyme disease. Lyme disease is transmitted by tick bites but often has a good prognosis if it is treated right away. As if things weren’t bad enough for poor Kimmie, she developed immune mediated anemia and immune mediated arthritis, secondary to Lyme disease.
On March 23rd, Kimmie went into labor and had a c-section to seven beautiful puppies. Her babies have been weened and now that she has recovered from all her ailments, she is ready to find her forever home too!
Even though Kimmie came from a rough situation, she is still such a sweetheart with everyone she has met. She is an absolute angel with children, and has even made some new canine friends!
If you would like to give Kimmie the love of a new home, submit your adoption application at the website below!
