My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PeeWee is a small senior terrier mix. He is very feisty. He likes cats and bullies dogs. He really could use a basic obedience class (positive only), even at his age - you can teach an old dog new tricks. He is pretty typical of smaller dog. He does bark.
PeeWee is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative & on prevention.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
