Prissy is a super sweet senior Springer Spaniel, about 8 years old. She likes to climb and dig, so proper fencing will be a must for this girl. She cannot be tied or staked out, she gets really scared. We don't endorse this practice anyway, but even for short periods she doesn't like it. She really wants her forever home, she just wants to lie at your feet and be calm & happy.
Prissy is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative & on prevention.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
All companions from Safe Dogs By The River have an adoption fee. If we did not have these fees, we would not be able to help the next animal that comes along. Please help us to continue helping the animals we have in our care.
