My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JoJo is about 9 months old. He is an adorable Shar Pei mix. JoJo is a high energy pup that will need obedience classes. He likes to nibble, still in the puppy stages. A little bit of guidance and consistency will make JoJo into a wonderful companion.
He has been neutered vaccinated and is heartworm negative. He loves attention and is very responsive to training. He is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly.
Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
All companions from Safe Dogs By The River have an adoption fee. If we did not have these fees, we would not be able to help the next animal that comes along. Please help us to continue helping the animals we have in our care.
