My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Junior is a very young mule (guesstimates put him at less than 2) that desperately wants to have a buddy. Junior will likely never be able to bear much weight, due to a twisted rear foot, although he canters, gallops, trots and shows no limp. When he was a baby, apparently his rear hoof twisted just enough that one side wore down farther than the other. He was in a neglective situation and no one had a farrier even out the hoof sole, so the hoof continued to twist. I have been told that he could be fitted for a special rehab boot, but we have not had time nor resources to follow through on that.
We have lost the lease at our stable and must place several of our rescue horses due to space constrictions at our personal farm. Junior is available to an approved home. He was destined for slaughter when we stepped in and bought him. He had never been handled or even had a halter put on him. He now comes up for hay or feed, we've put a halter on him and started handling him, but he has had no further training. He loves other horses, and has been around dogs, chicken, children and goats with no issues.
