My story

UPDATE: Meadow has been adopted into a wonderful and committed family. She lives on Lake Guntersville and loves the access to the lake. She comes back for boarding and playdates and is such a great dog. Meadow starts her obedience classes, along with a bunch of her human & doggy friends (Sara - up for adoption, Celery - adopted by us and Chance - rescued stray dog ~ we are carpooling).
Thanks for adopting.

Meadow has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccines and is healthy. She is crate trained and her foster mom walks her on a leash every day. She is a happy friendly pup just waiting for you to fall in love with her.
Meadow is in a foster home while she awaits her forever family to come and get her.

Safe Dogs By The River does not adopt dogs to outdoor only homes, nor do we endorse this practice. We believe a dog is a family member and should live indoors with they're humans. Indoor dogs make better watch dogs, are better able to alert to intruders and are capable of actually doing something heroic in the face of an emergency.
All companions from Safe Dogs By The River have an adoption fee. If we did not have these fees, we would not be able to help the next animal that comes along. Please help us to continue helping the animals we have in our care.
