My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue

Meow! My name is Tansy. My estimated date of birth is 10/1/2022. I am an over-the-top friendly kitty looking for a very special forever home. I love meeting visitors as I run to the door welcoming them to kitty corner. I get along with kids and other cats as well. I enjoy exploring kitty corner and spying on other cats from on top cat trees. My wet food time is my favorite part of the day since I am quite food motivated! I enjoy cozy cat beds when I need a break from playing or sleeping on comfy carpeted floors fits my expectations as well. I get the zoomies throughout the day since I'm always looking for someone to play with!  If you are looking for a pair my other two sisters Poppy and Dahlia are available for adoption as well!

One of my siblings has been diagnosed with feline viral rhinotracheitis, or feline herpes.*** Most likely, I have this disease as well. I can live a long, happy, healthy life with a strong diet, routine vet care and lots of love! I was hand raised and bottlefed and absolutely love people. Other cats don't bother me and I get along with dogs and kids too. Am I the right kitty for you? ***Symptoms of this disease manifest as upper respiratory infections and include congestion, sneezing and inflammation of the eyelids. Symptoms may not always be present but if the symptoms become severe, a vet may recommend a course of antibiotics. This disease affects cats of all ages, sizes and breeds. It is not transmissible to people or dogs. It is highly contagious to other cats so these kittens are looking for a home where they can be the only kitty, they are adopted together, or the other kitties in the home are vaccinated against this disease. For more information, please visit pets.webmd.com or send us a PM.

Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.

We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at  bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts!
