Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please take a moment to look me over. I know I am an older lady in a sea of kittens this season, but I am losing my home, through no fault of my own. I come to the rescue with my housemate, Chad. We are not a bonded pair; we've just lived together a few years. Divorce has required us to go to rescue. Our parents were very kindhearted to take us both. You see, we are FIV positive. A greatly misunderstood virus that we are learning more and more about every day. Now we know we cannot spread the disease just by living with other cats. We have to be in an intense, territorial fight to infect others, which doesn't happen to cats living indoors, not fighting to survive.
I love to cuddle and promise to be a good lap kitty. When we aren't cuddling, I am content to sit in the window and watch the birds from the safety of your home.
I promise I'll be a great pet. Please consider me today.
