My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Description:** Lace is a charming and slightly portly female Tabby with a heart as big as her appetite. She's a lover of the finer things in life, especially when it comes to food, but don't let her size fool you; she's still nimble and playful. While she may prefer to be the sole feline ruler of her domain, she's perfectly at ease with canine companions.
**Personality:** Lace is a laid-back kitty with a penchant for relaxation. When she's not indulging in her favorite pastime of dining, you'll often find her perched on the arm of your sofa, eagerly watching whatever show happens to be on TV. Despite her leisurely nature, she's not one to turn down a good game of chase with her beloved yarn toys.
**Ideal Home:** Lace would thrive in a home where she can reign supreme as the sole furry monarch. A family who can appreciate her love for food and accommodate her leisurely lifestyle would be the perfect match. If there's a dog in the household, even better! As long as there's a cozy spot on the sofa and plenty of yarn toys to chase, Lace will feel right at home. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this sweet lady

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.

Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
