Kelly has a traumatic past. Before I adopted her, she was in a hoarding situation, and when the man that watched over all the animals made any sound, he'd hurt them. She was 8 months old.
After 3 months of patience and care, she learned to trust me.
Since then, she has improved greatly, but she still has 2 issues due to her past.
1) Kelly is not completely house broken. She shows no signs of when she needs to go. So it's best to take her out every 2 hours. Kelly IS crate trained and will not "go" in her crate. She also has anxiety pee and excited pee.
2) Kelly is vocal. She barks at strangers/new people and surrounding noises. She's getting better with "no react", but it could use some work. She is very treat motivated, but the person needs to hold it for her to trust them.
She has NEVER bitten another person or animal.
Besides these, she is very lovable once she knows you are her human. She loves to entertain herself and give lots of kisses. Kelly is also a cuddle bug at night
