My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Wasabi.
I'm 1.5 years old and I actually just got to LKCI last week. You see, my owner was going to throw me out on the streets because I was being aggressive to the other cat in the house. I was not neutered and I was letting that get the best of me.
Since coming to LKCI I have started my vaccines, been neutered, and to everyone's surprise I actually get along with cats.
I would do fine in a home with other cats as long as you do a proper introduction. same with dogs.
I am a HUGE lover. I love attention and head scratches. I'm a very muscular kitty and I weigh in around 9lbs! I would really love a FOREVER home.
Please help me find one! If you think I would be a good fit for your family, please fill out our adoption application!

More about this rescue

We are a small cat based rescue in chiefland, FL however we take in urgent dogs as well when needed. When I moved back to Florida from Michigan last year I was quickly reminded of how different it is here. The strays running wild everywhere, people abandoning their animals, adopting out sick cats, not helping the hurt ones. It breaks my heart. I have the finances to help now, so I'm doing everything I can to give these cats the life they deserved the first time around.
