My story

Brian writes us about a dog who looks like Straydog's Noble that he is fostering. Brian writes that "Tanner is the most loving and cuddly dog I have ever met in my life. He cuddles like a little boy on the couch. I just so desperately want him to get the medical attention he needs and to be in a loving home / environment since I can't keep him. Tanner is a Red Blackmouth Cur who was abandoned in my Condo complex about 7 months ago now. He was sitting in the rain on a neighbor's step trying to stay dry. He had no identification and no chip. I tried finding an owner, but no luck. Probably for the best though, cause he looked so malnourished and neglected. I took him to the vet, got him shots, on heart worm, neutered, etc. He is healthier looking, but something is still wrong with him. He has not gained weight. The Vet thinks he is about a year and a half old. Blood testing doesn't show he has diabetes but the vet said that further testing was required. I can barely afford to keep my 10 year old dog because of the economy. Can you help me? Update: Tanner is getting a second opinion at a different vet. But still needs a loving home where someone can take him in and be his loving guardian.
