My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Special Home Needed* Teddy- He is a 60lb Bulldog mix and almost 7 years old. He is as sweet as can be! Crate and potty trained. Loves to go on walks and snuggle at the foot of the bed. He prefers females over men (due to his past) and is a true ladies man. He would be happy to be the only dog getting all of the attention. He does good with other dogs as long as they are not all over him and in his face. He is not cat tested. His ideal home would have only adults/ women in the home. He has been in the rescue over the year and did great in a temp foster home with a single woman.

More about this rescue

Southern Tails Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit, supported by local community donations in order to ensure the physical and medical well-being of the dogs. We rely solely on the financial support of our donors’ generosity as well as any fundraisers we host, and the time and energy of our volunteers. We focus on rescuing dogs from rural shelters and streets in the surrounding areas of Charleston, South Carolina. We believe every paw has a tale.
