Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Alex: The One-Eyed Wonder
I'm Alex, the purr-sonification of resilience and charm. If you're in the market for a cat with character and a heart of gold, look no further—I'm your guy!
Let me spill the beans on my backstory: I emerged from the chaos of a hoarded house, where life was anything but a walk in the park. Due to an unfortunate incident, I had to bid farewell to my right eye, but fear not, because I'm living my best life now with no need for meds or further surgeries. Call me the one-eyed wonder with a zest for life!
At under two years old, I'm an orange male tabby with a soft, broken meow that turns into a persistent morning melody—especially if breakfast is on the horizon. Food is one of my great loves, along with cuddles and exploring the world through my incredible sense of smell.
Now, let's talk vision: my left eyelid is best buds with my cornea, causing me some partial vision loss. But don't you worry, it doesn't stop me from being the adventurous, playful spirit that I am! I might be a tad cautious and slow to trust, but once you've won me over, I'm all in for cuddle sessions with both my feline and human friends.
To spice things up, I enjoy playing with toys and orchestrating tub rendezvous with my foster brother.
However, in new surroundings, I might need a bit of time to adjust. My depth perception can be a bit wonky, leading to accidental encounters, but I promise it's all in good, clumsy fun!
When it comes to love, I'm an open book. Forehead kisses? Absolutely! Belly rubs? Bring 'em on! Paw massages? Oh, you spoil me! I might scurry around at the sound of something spooky, but give me a safe space, and I'll come out when I'm ready. It's all part of my charm.
As time goes on, I'm learning that my traumatic past is just that—past. Humans are turning out to be pretty trustworthy, and I'm ready to find my forever family. Are you ready to smother me with the love I truly deserve?
Estimated date of birth is AUG 2022.
