My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lenny:
7 month old Male Cream/White Retriever/Mix
40 pounds, fully vaccinated, neutered! HW(-)
LOVES GIVING KISSES, very submissive, excellent personality! LOVES TREATS Good with other dogs!
The shelter staff raved about Lenny and said he is a phenomenal dog!

Hi, my name is Lenny! I found myself here in the shelter and boy am I ready to be with you! I am a laid-back fella who hasn't learned much in my short time, but I sure can tell ya I love to give kisses like they are going out of style and I also like yummy treats! I enjoy laying around and taking in my surroundings and I love going in the yard and playing with my canine buddies! I am ready to be your favorite pal to play fetch with and cuddle up with in the evenings!

Please email adoptsch@gmail.com or text/call Ann at 757-630-6181 if you are interested in Lenny or need more information.

More about this rescue

Second Chance Habitat:
We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned animals in harms' way find humane, life affirming alternatives to "euthanasia"; we save healthy, loving, adoptable dogs whose days are numbered in stressful, crowded high kill shelters in the surrounding area; we care for feral and unadoptable cats in our one of a kind, cage free, safe-haven sanctuary in Chesapeake VA.
