INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE
Elsa was an emergency rescue as her prior owners threatened to feed her to their dogs! We had Elsa transported to the rescue in Lake Elsinore from Los Angeles in order to save her life.
Elsa is as cute as they come! She is eager for attention and greets you at the edge of her bunny bungalow. She is easy to hold and handle. When you lie on the floor with her, she licks your neck, face and hands.
She is a sweet, social bunny. She is calm, relaxed and not the least bit skittish. She's thrilled to be in a safe environment and anticipates the day she finds her forever home. Elsa was spayed on June 18, 2023.
Elsa should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.
Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.
Elsa can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.
PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
