Danny is an active, sweet young fellow who absolutely loves people. He sleeps quietly with me at night, cuddled up by my side. He jumps up on my chair and sits on my chest as I watch TV. Danny is also great with my visitors - he is such a friendly boy. He is not a hiding type of kitty.

Playtime is his favorite. He loves toys - anything that he can roll around, toss in the air or carry in his mouth. He loves to play chase and wrestle with my other foster, Lizzy, who is also available. They get along well and I would love for them to go together. If not, Danny must go to a home that has a young playful cat. He absolutely needs a playful companion.

As you can see, Danny is a cute tabby fellow, smaller in size, with green eyes. He has excellent litterbox habits and is a great eater, preferring wet food.

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$120 for a kitten or cat up to 2 years old, or $200 if you adopt a pair.
Cats 2 to 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%
We will waive the adoption fee for any cat over 10 years old.
Our dog adoption fee is $200.

While appointments to visit the Kitten Adoption Center are encouraged, walk-ins are always welcome! Make sure you complete the Cat Adoption Questionnaire here online prior to visiting us. More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
