Peanut is a sweet little lady who's dad had to move to a care facility, leaving her, a sibling, and their mama dog behind. Although they've lived together, the trio doesn't seem super bonded and more enjoy being the center of attention versus sharing with each other.
Peanut does get along with other animals, so a family with lots of love and attention to give would suit her fine or even an individual looking for a BFF. She does like to 'talk,' so apartments likely won't be a match. But anything else would be A-OK with Peanut, as long as you've got lots of love to give.
She has a lot of years to offer some lucky home!

Dog Foster Application (bit.ly/DH-Fosters)
To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.
We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
