My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Helen came to us as a young pregnant cat and had a litter of 6 kittens which were all adopted. She is friendly but on her terms. She is a typical cat. She doesn’t like to be picked up or held. But she will crawl up on your lap when she wants attention. When she’s had enough, she’ll let you know. She does not like her lower back or tail touched!!!! We believe Helen would do best in a quite home. No other cats as she doesn’t seem to like the other cats at the shelter (although this could be because of the number of cats). We are not sure about other animals and/or children however we think an adult home would be best. We hope that someone will give Helen a chance. She was so young when she had her kittens and needed to take care of them, she deserves to have a forever home. 10/21 Update: One Volunteer stated: "Helen is really making progress….she lets me hold and cuddle her…but of course, on her terms.
